Product for waterproofing and self-sealing concrete by internal crystallization.

DESCRIPTION

CRISTAL MIX SC is a concrete powder product with the unique property of forming crystals that permanently waterproof the mass.

CRISTAL MIX SC is added in the concrete mixer during the
mixing process or, in special cases, directly in the concrete plant.
The highly advanced organic component of the product
reacts with water and non-hydrated cement particles to form billions of needle-like crystals; these crystals grow and migrate through the concrete filling capillaries and microscopic voids that would otherwise be passageways for water.

The feature that makes CRISTAL MIX SC an extraordinarily reliable product is its ability to self-seal over time: the organic chemical components remain dormant in the concrete and, in the case of the formation of cracks and small cracks, even long after installation, CRISTAL MIX SC is reactivated by the penetration of more water.

Agents’ Meeting 19 January 2018

The System Technology Agents Meeting was held on Friday 19 January 2018 at the spectacular location of IL CASTELLO DI SAN GAUDENZIO in Cervesina (PV).
A special occasion, a day of technical and commercial training, important exchanges of experiences and opinions by all the participating consultants from different areas of Italy.
A fundamental confrontation, heated but constructive and motivating discussions.
We analysed the current market situation and laid the foundations for a shared vision of scenarios and the objectives to be achieved and passed over the coming years, the result of excellent teamwork.

Proud to be a PARTNER of QUIN magazine for having contributed to the description of the intervention carried out, in the article relating to number 29 of November December 2018, of the project by Studio Giordano Hadamik Architects of Villa Nemes.The works carried out in the villa were:
Waterproofing of the underground structure and the pool through internal crystallization of the concrete using Cristal Mix and waterproofing of the roof slab using Poliuplan (thixotropic elastic polyurethane liquid membrane).

INJECT ACRYL ELASTIC R

The INJECT ACRYL ELASTIC R system is a non-toxic aqueous solution of multifunctional methacrylates.

DESCRIPTION

The compound gels in a few seconds to a few minutes when an activator or initiator is added just before use.
The final product is a soft and tacky cros-slinked gel.
In wet or dry conditions, the volume of the gel increases or decreases in a reversible manner assuring perfect waterproofing.

USE

The INJECT ACRYL ELASTIC R is used for sealing and consolidation works in presence of water.

The substance is injected through packers or injection hoses.

The low viscosity of the product assures high
fluidity.

It’s a hydrophilic system with a controlled set time used in the following applications:

  • Treatment of water infiltration and ground water ingress;
  • Treatment of soils;
  • Treatment of voids and cavities, in the form of sand grouts;
  • Injection of water bearing cracks in concrete or masonry walls;
  • Injection of (re-) injectable injection hoses;
  • Injection of compartments in (PVC) liners;

INJECT ACRYL B

POLIUPLAN

CODE: 3004

Thixotropic elastic liquid polyurethane membrane for continuous waterproofing.

DESCRIPTION

POLIUPLAN is a thixotropic and elastic single-component liquid polyurethane for waterproofing.

The material vulcanizes with atmospheric humidity.

It produces an elastic membrane with excellent adhesion to different surfaces.

Apply with roller, brush in one or two coats with a minimum total consumption of 1.0 – 1.2 kg/m2.

POLIUPLAN is recommended in applications with cracks in the substrate, thanks to its elongation capabilities combined with its low modulus properties.

The product is based on pure polyurethane and hydrophobic resins which provide it with excellent waterproofing properties.

The product IS NOT recommended for use where it is visible.

POLIUPLAN is effectively protected from UV rays by applying a thin layer of the already pigmented POLIUPLAN 500. POLIUPLAN RIV.

USE

  • Roofs waterproofing
  • Waterproofing of balconies, terraces and verandas
  • The POLIUPLAN waterproofed substrate can be left “exposed” or tiled with a C2TE class glue;
  • Waterproofing of damp areas in bathrooms, kitchens, balconies, auxiliary rooms, etc;
  • Waterproofing of old asphalt, EPDM/PVC and acrylic membranes.
  • Protection of polyurethane foam;
  • Waterproofing of bridges subjected to pedestrian and vehicle traffic;
  • Waterproofing of roof gardens, flower beds and pots;
  • Waterproofing and protection of concrete constructions such as bridges, tunnels, stadium stands, parking lots, etc;
